The Rebirth group held its first 2-wheel show

From March 7 to 10, the Rebirth group, with its Solex, Matra and Mobicity brands, took part in its first Salon du 2 Roues in Lyon.

A record-breaking show

The 31st Salon du 2 Roues ended with a record 150,000 visitors over the 4 days. We witnessed this historic attendance at our stand through the many visitors who came to see us. This enthusiasm confirms the public’s interest in the world of two-wheelers, in both internal combustion and electric mobility. The year 2024 will have seen further progress with the development of the soft mobility world and its 20,000 m2 of exhibition space.

A stand dedicated to urban and electric mobility

It was an opportunity to show our visitors some of the broad spectrum of the Rebirth Group. To start with, the presentation of our iconic Solex brand with the presence of our Intemporel bike and its central or rear-wheel motorization. We also showed that Matra isn’t just a high-tech mountain bike brand.

We also offer a range of VTC bikes, including the i-Step, an electric bike that’s at home on asphalt, cobblestones or clay, thanks to its suspension fork and adapted tires. And let’s not forget the i-Flow, optimized for the city with a low-set frame shape and accessories designed to provide maximum comfort and safety for urban cycling. Last but not least, a functional Mobicity terminal was made available, illustrating the Rebirth Group’s commitment to supporting companies and local authorities in their efforts to promote soft, responsible mobility.

Our assessment of the Salon du 2 Roues 2024

We talked to many enthusiasts who appreciated the technical evolution of the original Solex into an electric bike. They emphasized its design, respectful of the combustion model with its engine at the front, which has been transformed into a functional basket. They also really enjoyed talking to our designer, who gave them a unique virtual reality experience. As for the Mobicity station, they found the concept very interesting and easy to use, which encourages us to continue in this direction. The show also confirmed the importance our future customers attach to “made in France”, and to the fact that our bikes come from St Lô in Normandy.

It’s a more than positive assessment of the Lyon 2024 2 Wheel Show. That’s why the appointment has already been made for 2025.
